Hi I'm Marianna

Im a cosmetologist. Im six feet tall, and i still wear 5 inch heals. I sing loud in the car. And im a Mormon.

About Me

im the youngest of five children in my family. i had a little brother who passed away when i was a little girl. his passing brought my family so close, and has unified us. i accredit most of my interest to my family, and thats because i am the most happy when im with them. being a 6' plus family, ive always looked up to my family members, but not just because of their height... they are spiritual giants, and emulate joy. this joy is a center of gravity that draws others to them, and i love them. i love to dance and sing, and jam out in the car with the windows down. :) i took a break from college to go to cosmetology school, and when i finished that i completed my associates degree. i have two parents who are amazing. they have taught me about life, and our Savior's love through their example. laughter, hugs, hard work, love, and sacrifice best define my growing up years, and i wouldnt change a thing. im 23 years old, and will be leaving for Argentina soon, as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family where my parents were both raised Latter Day Saint. Growing up, my siblings and I, were submerged in the Gospel and the LDS culture. I never doubted wether the things we were taught were true or not. As i grew older and the influences of life started impacting my life, i felt an urge to just have that little confirmation that His gospel was in fact the one true center of life. i wanted it to become the center of MY life. i wanted to know the Savior intimately, and i wanted to feel that He knew me.... since that desire, the times where i have felt an overwhelming sense of love and peace and closeness to my savior, have been times involving close loved ones and family members. it has been at times where the gospel teachings are being evident in either my life, or in the lives of those i am emotionally invested into. There is a sweet spirit that comes when characteristics associated with the Savior are being displayed- love, kindness, service, charity, forgiveness, repentance, acceptance, humility, happiness, unity. i am a mormon, because the Gospel of Jesus Christ has changed my life, it has given me direction, peace, and reason.

How I live my faith

one of the ways i live my faith is by making my faith the reason i live. i'm enthusiastic about what i believe, and i like to share that either in conversation, or in action, with my friends, family, coworkers, and environment. I am preparing to serve a mission in argentina in july.
