Hi I'm Jessica

I love singing and playing my ukulele. I love my family and laughing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from high school and am preparing to serve a full-time mission in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I was accepted into BYU-Idaho and will attend when I return in 18 months. I have lived in the same small town my entire life and love spending time with my large family. My cousins are like my siblings and my siblings are my best friends. I love to sing and play my ukulele. Performing is my favorite thing to do. I am always laughing and love to put a smile on others faces.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know and feel this church is true. I love the feelings that come from obeying the principles of Christ's teachings. I have a testimony that this is the true restored church upon this earth and that the Prophet Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet today. I know that if I can continue to live the teachings of this gospel and strive to keep my faith that everything will work out. I know that through faith and my Savior anything is possible. I am a Mormon because of the immense peace that I feel as I practice, learn, and teach this gospel.

How I live my faith

I attend the Young Single Adults ward in my area and participate in many callings. I am the first counselor in the Relief Society Presidency. This is the name for the group of women in our church. I organize Sunday teaching schedules and also visiting teaching. I also help plan activities and any other task the president cannot complete. I am also the munch and mingle coordinator. I plan and conduct our monthly "break the fast" meal after our church meetings on fast Sundays.
