Hi I'm Justine

I grew up in South Dakota. I love music and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy listening to and performing music with friends and family. I especially folk music and could listen to Joni Mitchell every day. I studied Philosophy at Southern Virginia University and I enjoy reading and learning new things. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Las Vegas, Nevada and this experience truly blessed my life. When I returned home I married my wonderful husband and we enjoy spending time together as a family. We hope to have children soon and to raise them according to the principles found in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that God has restored his true and living church to the earth through personal revelation and prayer. I have read the Book of Mormon and know that is, with the Bible, the word of God. I know that Joseph Smith translated it by the power of God and that he was the Lord's instrument in restoring His Church on the earth. I know through prayer that the Church is lead today by a prophet of God, Thomas S. Monson. Above all I am a Mormon because I know that is is what my Father in Heaven wants of me. I know that Jesus Christ is His son. I know through the gift and power of the Holy Ghost that He loves me and that he lived and died for me. I know this is the path that they would have me follow.

How I live my faith

I strive to fulfill my calling to provide acts of compassionate service to the women of our Church. This includes providing meals for new mothers, families with illnesses, or sisters otherwise in need, and distributing "nice notes" to the women of the ward. My husband and I also organize the music for our sacrament meetings.
