Hi I'm Elsa

I'm an easygoing person. I'm a good friend. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Elsa. I'm a 19 year old student going to college and I will most likely study Elementary Education. I keep changing my mind on what I should study. The things I like to do for fun are not typical things that kids like to do where I live. I love camping, hiking, four-wheel riding, skeet shooting, etc. I could spend all day outside. I also like to play the viola. I have been playing it for about 9 years. Whenever I'm feeling upset or sad, I play the viola and it makes me feel better.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because of many reasons. I was born into the church but in a certain way, I can still consider myself a convert. In fact, I think we are all converts. As a Latter Day Saint, one of our main goals is to turn ourselves fully to Christ. In order to fully turn to Christ, we need to convert ourselves to Him. I'm a mormon because I love Christ. This is His gospel and there is nothing like it in the whole world. His gospel helps us to lead better lives and helps us to be happier. Without His gospel I, for sure, would be lost. I know that Christ is our Savior, and that through Him, we can return to our Heavenly Father. Our Heavenly Father knows each one of us better than we know ourselves. He wants us to return to Him one day, He loves us. I know that living His gospel will bring us back to Him one day. I love Him, and I want to live a life worthy of returning to Him one day. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I believe in Him entirely and love this gospel. I know that following Christ will not only bring peace to one's life, but bless one with blessings too numerous to count. I love our Savior and I know that this Church is true. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has affected every aspect of my life. I have had a couple of callings in the church. My latest calling was being a Ward Historian. I was in charge of recording events that go on in our ward. Along with being the Ward Historian, I got the opportunity to be a visiting teacher. Being a visiting teacher has helped me to really experience the love of Christ. As I got to visit with these two sisters, I was able to get to know them better and able to really love them. Instead of visiting them because I had to, I began visiting them because I wanted to. Being a visiting teacher and a Ward Historian has really helped me to live my faith.
