Hi I'm Emily Beus

I'm 20 years old. I love all things musical. I have an imagination as big as the universe. I'm a missionary, I love my Savior.

About Me

I love music and dream of singing on stage. I play the guitar and the piano and love the joy that music can bring to people. No matter how you are feeling, the right song can make it better. I love to use my imagination to have amazing adventures. Some people think I'm a little crazy, but I feel like it is a gift that I can create something that no one else can. It also makes reality a little more interesting. I am currently serving the Lord as a missionary in the New Hampshire, Manchester mission. I love it here. The people are wonderful and the areas are beautiful. I enjoy serving others and helping them come closer to Christ. The one wish of my heart is to have all people know that they are a child of a Heavenly Father and that He loves them so much. It brings me so much peace to know that no matter what I do, He will love me and forgive me. I know that I am not perfect, I try so hard to be, and because of Jesus Christ and His Atonement I can be perfect some day and live with Him and Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel. I love thee idea of eternal families. Because me and my 3 siblings were adopted, being sealed to my family for eternity is very special. My younger sister passed away in November of 2014, just before her 16th birthday. It was the hardest thing that has ever happened to me and my family. But through the gospel of Jesus Christ I know that I will see her again and that she will always be my sister. I know that God has a plan for each one of us. It may not be what we want at the time, but everything happens for a reason. God will never give us more than we can handle. I also love the peace and joy that comes from living His standards. High School was hard. I had almost no friends and home life was hard at times. I came to know Christ at that time. He carried me through the hardest time of my life. I knew He loved me when I felt forgotten. With Him I have a Father who loves me. He paid for my sins with His blood, and although it will never be enough, I want to be my best to repay Him.

How I live my faith

I love serving a mission and sharing the Gospel with other people. It has been such a blessing to see the Light of Christ help others. Missionary work is not just for those with name tags, by serving in our communities all of us share that Light. I always try my best to follow the example of the Savior. He has gotten me through the hardest times of my life. He is our perfect example in all things. As I study the scriptures every day I strive to be the best example I can be so others can see that Light through me, and when they see the Light, I can help guide them to it so that they can shine too and feel the peace and joy of our Savior's Atonement.
