Hi I'm Amber

I always wanted to be a wife and mother when I grew up, I am living that dream. I'm a mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have been married for almost 17 years. We have 4 beautiful children that bring joy to our lives. We love to spend time together as a family camping and playing. Traveling is something we love to do, but sadly don't get to do it as much as we'd like. My husband is a school teacher, and I teach preschool in my home. We love being outdoors, and we love working on home improvement projects together.. My husband is a good sport and " just goes with all my ideas". I am the brains and designer, and he is the muscles and the know how.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because being a mormon is easy for me. I love the peace and direction that I feel because of the testimony I have of the gospel. I feel empowered by the knowledge I have of eternal families, and I am thankful for the emphasis on the family in our church. I am so thankful for temples on the earth, where I can go and feel the love and peace of my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. I learn something new each time I go, and love the time I am able to spend in His holy house. As a parent, I love the direction and knowledge of the purpose of life that I am able to teach my children. I am grateful that I can follow Jesus Christ's example in all aspects of my life. I know that this is his church. I feel so blessed to have, follow, and love a living prophet. I am so thankful for the peace and guidance I feel when I listen to and follow the council of the inspired leaders of the church. I have felt the promptings of the Holy ghost testifying of truths. this wonderful gift of the Holy Ghost is a blessing I do not take for granted.

How I live my faith

Right now I am thrilled to be working with the youth (young women) in my ward. I love being around their infectious, strong personalities. Their example of how to live a virtuous life in these trying times truly amazes me. I have a 14 year old daughter who keeps me young, and amazes me with her strength and goodness. I often feel that the girls are teaching me more than I could ever teach them.
