Hi I'm Louis V. Malherbe

I grew up in Arizona and now live in New Mexico (yes, it is a state). I grew up in this amazing Church!

About Me

I grew up in the Church, my wife Jessica was not for the first 5 years. She was baptized on our 5 yr anniversary and it is amazing watching her testimony grow. We have 3 little girls who can't wait to go to the Temple to be sealed for eternity. She is a full time mom and I have the easier job as a Sheriff's Deputy for the County. I see the good, bad and very ugly, but I know that when I come home and attend my meetings, I can escape the bad in this world. We're new to our ward in ABQ and the people were open and accepting from the beginning. Amazing is all I can say. I have no idea how this site works, feel free to ask anything (tasteful that is). Thanks for reading

Why I am a Mormon

As I said I grew up in the Church and although I've been to other denominations and services, and I can respect each one in their own way, I did not receive the feelings I get in my own meetings. No matter the age, the screaming kids, or sitting on the hard chairs in the back row, the Church has always been my rock!

How I live my faith

I served in the Montana Billings Mission and after a hiatus of sorts, I recently returned to the church, about the same time as my wife was "reborn". We both received callings, I was asked to be the Young Mens Secretary, I can't tell you how it is because it isn't official. I work with a prayer in my heart and nonchalantly share testimony to friends who need to hear it. They're still with me and watching my back so I think it worked.
