Hi I'm Payton

I was recently baptized ,about a month ago so I am still learning theres a lot to learn but I am enjoying it.

About Me

I am a 55year old male living in Texas hard, working fun loving and overtly affected by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Formerly from New Orleans La. a survivor of hurricane Katrina, one who has been blessed to come out of it on a higher level.I consider myself somewhat of a music lover, from classical to jazz to rock.My favorite thing to do is study God's word and really dig out the deep things,to disect every word and examine all the possibilities that they hold .Divine revelation is what I seek wether it be from the spoken or written word.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe without a doubt that it is The Heavenly Fathers will for me to be so.I have had many experiences with other denominations that have ultimately prepared me for the LDS Church and not in a negative way but a positive one ,all roads seem to have brought me to this point.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being someone who is reachable to every person regardless of what level of understanding they are at.I have found that I can appreciate what children have to say about their perceptions of The Heavenly Father as well as adults. I strive to be honest and open as well as transparent when it comes to sharing my life experiences with others.I want to be able to see my fellow man as God sees us.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

I can attest to the fact that the use of the substances mentioned are harmful to our bodies and our minds ,I know from first hand experience. Show more Show less
