Hi I'm Linda

I am a mother and grandmother, I am a full time funeral arranger, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Edinburgh, and joined the Church there in 1976, I moved to Northern Ireland in the height of the "troubles" in 1979, married and had 3 beautiful girls. I am now a grandmother of 8 adorable grandchildren. I love to read, craft, knit and walk, and have worked in a Building Society, Estate Agents, as a Trainer in Education, Funeral Arranger/Manager..... I currently serve as the Primary President in my Ward.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 15, I found myself wondering "where did I come from, why was I here and where was I going...?" These 3 very important questions were answered for me when I was introduced to the Church by my best friend at the time. Life had purpose, and knowing that this life is not the end, and that families can be together forever, means everything to me. It has been said that to have faith is to be weak...... I believe that to have faith in a loving Heavenly Father and a Saviour and elder brother Jesus Christ is a strength, which keeps me going through the ups and down of life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is beautifully simple, and simply beautiful. A recent quote from one of our conferences sums up my beliefs...."I am a Mormon... I know it, I live it I love it." (Sister Ann M. Dibb).

How I live my faith

I try to be a good person, to love others as the Saviour would love them and as He loves me..... I try to be a good example to my family and to treat others as I would like to be treated. I try to serve others by visiting with sisters in the ward, in my community and in my field of work. I love to teach, and enjoy being taught the gospel, as I feel I still have so much to learn. The gospel is my life, and I love it, and I try to live it.
