Hi I'm Rebekah

I'm a sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece, friend cook, seamstress, holistic health counselor. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, sew, cook and bake, exercise, play games with my family, and watch old movies. I'm the second oldest of 12 children. I love my family. I got my undergraduate degree at BYU. I've studied holistic nutrition online and I'm a Certified Holistic Health Counselor. I'm fascinated with nutrition and the human body.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I can't help it. I love the peace and comfort the gospel brings. I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I try to learn more about Him and try to follow His example, and it makes me happy. Even with all the turmoil in the world around me, I find peace and joy in the promises of the Savior that if we keep the commandments and do our best to follow Him, we will be blessed. I know I am a daughter of God. I rejoice in that knowledge. I know my Father in Heaven has a plan for me. He will not let me fail. If I am trying to follow Him, He will bless and magnify my efforts. I believe in eternal families, and I am so grateful and humbled that I can be sealed to my family for all eternity. I believe in and am so grateful for living prophets. How wonderful it is to live in a day where there are prophets on the earth. The gospel brings the Spirit of peace into my life. I'm so grateful that I was baptized and have the Gift of the Holy Ghost as a personal friend to guide and inspire me every day. I'm grateful for the emphasis on Family History work and Genealogy, and the opportunity to participate in the temples for our deceased ancestors to receive the gospel and it's ordinances. I love this church. I love this gospel. I love my Heavenly Father, my Savior Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost. I'm a Mormon because I can't help it.

How I live my faith

I lead the music in our Sunday meetings. I also help welcome people to the ward and reach out to those who may not come as often. I visit teach sisters in my ward regularly.
