Hi I'm Karla

I am a retired elementary school librarian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For the past five years I've been living with my parents as their full-time caretaker. In my spare time I enjoy growing vegetables in my garden. I like the Florida climate and enjoy being outside. I'm active in the Church and have been serving in the womens organization.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is the true church. I've read the Book of Mormon. It's the word of God. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today. I know that the Lord loves me and knows me. The Holy Ghost reveals this to me. The Priesthood has been restored to the earth and I receive many blessings through the ordinances of the priesthood. I know that familes will live together in eternity and I am so grateful for my membership in this Church.

How I live my faith

I have taught adult Sunday School classes. I read and study the scriptures a lot. The women of our branch have a humanitarian project. I participate by quilting blankets for newborn babies. There are several single sisters living in my area. I help them by giving them rides to Church, the grocery store and out to visit other sisters in the branch. It's important to me to attend Church every Sunday. I always learn something about the Gospel and at the end of the meeting I leave spiritually enlightened.
