Hi I'm Mike

I grew up in Aberdeen. I am a kilt maker and have a kilt shop. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 69 years old and retired. I have three sons, two in Aberdeen one in America. I have been a member of the church for 30 odd years. I enjoy music, jazz and play the alto saxaphone. I enjoy gardening and have bought a house in Malta for my retirement. I design the National Tartan for Scotland, Braveheart, Spirit of Scotland, and Robert Gordon University to name a few.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to serve in the true Church of Jesus Christ in following a living prophet who uses the same priesthood as Noah did to build the ark, as Moses did to part the Red Sea, as Joshua did to pull down the walls of Jericho, and as Joseph Smith did to bring forth the Book of Mormon. I believe in the Risen Christ as my Saviour and Redemeer.

How I live my faith

I'm director of public affairs for Aberdeen Stake and organise service projects and fun events. I'm involved with the local missionaries doing missionary service and helping to teach those who would like to learn more about the church. I have four families that I look after on a regular basis. I enjoy different classes on Sunday.
