Hi I'm Chris Davis

I play rugby. I love Sports. I am a backpacker. I am an artist. I study Aerospace engineering, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outside. Being active and having fun are what I love to do the most. I have played most sports in my life but Rugby is my favorite. I have played most of the positions but I usually play either as a Lock or as a Flanker. I love to travel and have been all over Europe. I love exploring the world and experiencing new things. Backpacking and being in the mountains are two of my most favorite past times. There is a thrill that comes from bing in the comfort of complete freedom that you can't get anywhere else. I love art and I love to draw and sketch. Writing takes up some of my free time, when I have free time. Music is a passion of mine and as long as it is "good" music I will listen to it. I am Studying Aerospace Engineering and I hope to one day work as a theoretical weapons designer, and produce fighter jets. I love my life and right now I am serving as a missionary in the England London Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church and have been a member since I was eight. I have been active in the church my whole life but I have not always been active in the gospel. Even though I went to church every week I was not living what was taught or what I knew I was supposed to be doing. Becuase I have lived on the "dark side" for almost as long as I have lived the gospel I have a unique perspective of both sides. When I was about seventeen or eighteen I realised that the life that I was living did not bring lasting happiesness. It was fun for fleeting moments but it never lasted. With the example of a few people around me I got back into doing what I knew was right and going back to living what I believed. It was not easy and it was a long hard road but it was worth every minute of pain and sorrow. Changing who I was to become what God wanted me to be made me understand why it is that we do the things that we do. I understood the side of those around me and I understood the reasons behind why we live and believe what we do. Throught the Atonement of Jesus Christ I was able to repent and become clean of what I had done. I learned really what the Atonement is and how much I need it in my life. I am so thankful to my Savior for going through what He went through for me. I have been able to find that lasting happieness through living the gospel of Jesus Christ and living what I know to be true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church once again established upon the earth. I know this with all my sould and I love it. This is the only place on earth where you can find true, lasting happieness.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in every aspect of my life. I have participated in most parts of the orgonization of the church. Either because I have a responsibility in that area or because I am helping others with theirs. I love to serve. Making others happy makes me happy. Service is one way that I can feel as if I am serving the Lord in a way that He would serve. We are all brothers and sisters of our Heavenly Father and as we love each other, we really show God how much we love Him. Right now I am doing all that I can to bring others into the fold of God. I am serving as a missionary for the church right now in London and it is the best decision that I have made thus far in my life. I love serving others and I love serving my Savior.
