Hi I'm Andrea Nelson

I'm from Kaysville, UT. I grew up with five brothers and now have three boys of my own. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the wife of a busy high school Physics teacher and full-time Master's student. We are the parents of three boys and I am doing my best to navigate this crazy world called "motherhood'. My boys keep me on my toes, and despite the long hours and sleepless nights, I try to live in the moment and drink it all in. When I can grab a minute to myself I love to update our family blog and keep a record of our little family. My favorite place to be is with them and I'm so grateful to know that we can be together eternally.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My parents taught me the Gospel from the time I was a little girl, but as I grew, and studied and prayed, I came to know for myself that the Church is true. As life's challenges come, as they do for each of us, it pushes you to test the beliefs you hold to be true, and to rely on God. As I've gone through life and experienced different things, my testimony of our Savior's teachings has grown. I know that our Savior lives and that He died for us. I know that this is His Church restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I known that Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet on the earth today and I'm so very grateful for his inspired guidance. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that through it we can find answers to our prayers. I know Heavenly Father really is our Father and that He loves us and wants us to return to live with Him again after this life. I'm happiest when I'm living the way I know He would want me to. The Gospel has enriched my life and brought so much joy to me and my family.

How I live my faith

I attend our Church meetings every Sunday. I have the opportunity to serve as the secretary in our women's group at Church. As a young mother I really enjoy the opportunity to interact and socialize with these women and learn from them as well. I am also assigned four women that I get to visit with each month to make sure they're doing ok and to share a spiritual message with them. It's wonderful as we work together to strengthen each other.
