Hi I'm Rey

I'm currently serving a full-time mission. Time flies when you're having fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to think about life, nature, and the purposes thereof. I love to take no sides in the world, enabling me to be free from any parties. I love to ponder about the nature of God and my relationship with Him. I'm not perfect, but it's fun to grow.

Why I am a Mormon

I love to ponder and think about life and the purpose thereof. I'm constantly seeking for pure knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. But it's hard to know the truth of things when you seek after the knowledge of other men, no matter how great these men were on this Earth. Jesus Christ stated that "the truth shall make you free"(John 8:32). The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only constitution in the world that enables and encourages me to seek out a more personal relationship with God without having to rely on secular or even historical evidence to know the truth of things. I have learned that there is no tangible source of evidence that will ever give me an answer so concrete and substantial as the Holy Ghost will. I am a member of the Church because of my understanding of who my Father in Heaven is. Not only do I "know about Jesus", I get to know him a little bit better every day through my personal understanding and relationship with Him. I testify that our Father in Heaven answers personal prayers, and speaks to the hearts of men, through the Holy Spirit, for there is no other way to know the truth of all things, but from Heavenly Father alone. Matthew 16: 16-17.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly relying on the personal revelation that I receive from God, and nourish my faith by reading scriptures, striving to obey all of God's commandments, and engaging in eddying and uplifting activities that keep me receptive to more personal revelation from God.
