Hi I'm Angelina

I'm from Virginia Beach, Virginia. I'm the youngest of five. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the youngest of five, the only girl and the favorite. I enjoy adventure, my favorite thing to do is to hop in my car and get lost. The few occasions I'm not in my car, you can find me watching movies with my best friends or my mom. I like sports, ice cream, taking pictures, country music, oreos, snuggling with my puppy, and making others smile!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS church and for a long time I went because I would get in trouble if I didn't. I went because it was the right thing to do or because I wanted to see my best friend. I hit a spiritual rut around my sophmore or junior year in high school. I was too old to being living on my mom's testimony but didn't have one of my own. I knew Heavenly Father was real and that He cared. I didn't really have a testimony of the church or the prophet. My last youth conference was a trip to Palmyra, where the Prophet Joseph Smith grew up. In the Sacred Grove, I prayed and asked Heavenly Father if the Book of Mormon was true and felt a sincere answer that it was. I asked in the prophet was true and if the church was as well, but didn't feel like I had gotten an answer. It wasn't until later that night when I was sobbing my eyes out to my mom that I got my answer. She told me "If you got an answer to one, then you got an answer to them all. One can't be true if the rest aren't."

How I live my faith

I am about to embark on the adventure of being a missionary! I'm going to serve in the Canada Montreal Mission and am so excited! I'm pretty newly out of the Young Women's Program but I served as the Laurel President and the Co-Chairman of the Planning Committee. It was a lot of work senior year but it was definitely worth it. Planning for dances and youth conference was so much fun; I loved every second of it.
