Hi I'm Rick Tucker

My family and my religion come first in my life. They are great blessings and they make me who I am today.

About Me

Family is inportant to me. I love my wife and family. Growing up in the Southbay area of Southern California, I enjoyed most beach related water sports and activities. Now I live in the desert southwest, and have lots of sand but no beach. I love my wife, children, their spouses, and grandchildren, and am grateful to be associated with them.

Why I am a Mormon

While I have grown up exposed to the Mormon faith, in my mid teen years I didn't participate regulary. I have come to find great satisfaction studying the principles of the gospel and understanding their truths. Those truths explain how many of the pieces of life's puzzle fit together, and provide assurance and comfort that God keeps his promises to his children. Faithfully living the doctrines of the gospel has brought an intense feeling of happiness and confidence that my life is pleasing to my Heavenly Father. I am also deeply humbled by all that the Savior has done to redeem me.

How I live my faith

Through Scouting and church I get many opportunities to serve in the community. I love that! Eagle scout projects have benefitted schools, parks and museums. In my Mormon congregation I work mostly with the youth to help them establish firm foundations for their future. We go on outings, play sports, learn to cook, learn music, study the scriptures and offer service to others in need.
