Hi I'm Kelsey Ronstadt

I just recently got married, I love Temple Square, the church, and physical activity. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I was 11 months old, I started having really serious seizures. In addition to seizures, when I was 7 years old, I had a Traumatic Brain Injury. I stopped having seizures at 9, almost 10 years old, but some things kept being hard for me after priesthood blessings. My learning process in some areas takes more time to learn than others, but I eventually get what I learn. I started Special Olympics at 9 years old. The events I do are Bowling, Track and Field, Bocce Ball, and Swimming. I used to do T-Ball, but they took that out of Special Olympics. In High School, I got on the Honor Roll three times, two for 4.0's, and one for Excellent Academic Performance. I graduated with a High School Diploma in 2012. Right now, I'm serving a mission in Ogden Utah as a receptionist, as well as a patron assistant. I'm also writing an autobiography. I love sports, games, studying about the church, writing in my journal, watching movies, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and shopping. I love lots of colors, animals, and food. I love the temple. My favorite place is Temple Square. I love to sing, dance and share my testimony. I also love to cook. I'm happy almost always. The church and Christ and prophets are important to me.

Why I am a Mormon

It's important and the only true church that has the fullness of the gospel on the earth. Jesus Christ created this church and it can't be taken away. I chose to become a member of Christ's church because this is the only way eternity happens, especially to be able to go into the temple worthily. Also being a member has brought me comfort and has taught me a lot, especially to learn from my mistakes. I've learned by being a member, that being a member of the church is one of the most important ways into the celestial kingdom. I have a desire to work my way into the celestial kingdom, no matter how much it takes of me. I also desire to choose the right and do things that are pleasing unto the Lord.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving a mission in Ogden as a Patron Assistant. It's been awesome. I participate in all Sunday school lessons. While I'm at church and home, I think about what I could do to improve myself each week so I can become more like Christ. I sing hymns or church songs almost everyday. Not just Sundays. I care about being a peacemaker and keeping the spirit in my home and clean just like the temple. I never lower my standards. I've cared about high standards and always will.
