Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon religion so have been a mormon all of my life. I love the gospel and the happiness that it brings to me. I love the focus that the gospel brings on strengthening the home and family. It brings me peace to know what my purpose is in life and what happens when we die. I have never been forced to go to church or forced to believe these things, My parents told me to find out for myself and i did just that. Through my own personal studying of the book of mormon and personal prayer, has helped me understand the purpose of life and has given me strength to overcome anything that might challenge me. The reason i want to take the time to tell you these things is because i want others to feel comfort in knowing this great purpose and receive the joy that comes from living it.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the church is an everyday thing for me i constantly try to be my best self. I have grown up going to church and as a little girl i attended primary. Being taught about god and the purpose of life has made me a more confident individual and has shaped my life for the better. I have always been involved in weekly church activities from youth nights, seminary and institute. I am currently involved with the young single adults in my ward, Where I help to organise activities and strengthen and support the YSA. I have also helped with the nursery and the youth in the church through teaching sunday school classes to the 16-18 year olds. I visit and teach 3 sisters every month in my ward,we share strengthening, uplifting monthly messages and also participate in serving the sisters if they need some extra help with anything.
