Hi I'm Shelby

I play college soccer. I love my dog way too much. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up in a Green Bay Packer adoring family. I play college soccer and live for athletics! I have ran the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay race 3 times now and love being active! I have recently converted to being a dog lover. My family has a little yorkie named Lulu (after Lululemon clothing) and I adore her. I am crafty and enjoy practicing my artistic abilities whenever I can!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Christ. I believe that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only completely true church on the earth. I know that God lives and loves me. Because of the strong faith of my family members and friends, I have seen lives blessed for keeping the commandments of God. I love knowing who I am, where I came from and where I am going. Joseph Smith restored Christ's gospel to the earth. We have a living prophet on the earth today. This church is true, I have come to know this for myself by reading The Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon has changed my life. It helps me with EVERY problem I encounter, and I know it is the most correct of any book on the earth. I am so happy to know these things! When I moved away to school I had to make a conscious decision to continue being an active member of this church. I had two choices: to continue on the path that my faithful parents had placed me on, or to stray away. The choice was mine, and because I chose to continue following Christ's teachings I know I was blessed because of it! I had such a positive experience at school surrounded by students living the same standards as me. I am so excited to serve an LDS mission and invite others to come unto Christ so they too can feel of the JOY this gospel brings!

How I live my faith

I have grown up in an active LDS family. I love the unity I feel as being a member of this church. I am grateful for the relationships and friendships I have made while being a member of my ward!
