Hi I'm Tj Gunderson

I'm Serving in the Washington Everett Mission, I love basketball and Food and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love the game of Basketball! Anything and everything about it! I play about 3 times a week and i watch it almost every day if i can! It's an amazing sport and it's hard but the rewards are great and i've made so many friends from it. I have played other sports like football, and swimming too. I love to fish and be outdoors, hiking is one of my favorite things to do. I plan on going to college when i get back from my LDS mission and becoming either a physical therapist or a nutritionist.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I grew up in the church and grew up in church surrounded communities. So i've always been a member but, as i have gotten older and become able to make decisions for myself on what's right and wrong, i have never felt and been more sure about anything in my life. I have come to find that as i'm faithful and obey the commandments and walk on the straight and narrow, though it may be hard sometimes and your friends may not support you all the time, i have been rewarded with many, many great blessings and not just me but i've noticed others around me like friends and family have been blessed as well. I know that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God and personally saw God the Father and His son Jesus Christ in the sacred grove. I know that he translated and restored the Book of Mormon and helped restore the fullness of the Gospel. I know that missionary work and bringing others into the light of Christ is one of the greatest experiences i will have in my life and i know that millions of lives have been blessed and changed forever because of it.

How I live my faith

I'm serving as a missionary and finding those people who are seeking the truth. I live the Gospel by acting as Jesus Christ would. Helping others, Listening, Spending time with others. I love my Family and my friends. My friends might as well be family. Obedience brings blessings but exact obedience brings miracles!

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Tj Gunderson
The Prophets today have said that any worthy and able young men or young women should go on a mission. That means that if they are old enough to go and are healthy enough to go, they should at least consider going on a mission. The church is "hastening the work" which in other words, means that we as a church, need more and more people to learn and hear about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. The best way to do that is by missionary work! Show more Show less
