Hi I'm Nicholas Angel Pilon

I was born in Newport Beach, California. I'm an identical twin. I love to create films. I love Carpentry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into the world with a companion that looked, walked, and talked just like me. I am an identical twin, but don't be deceived, we are two very separate people. My twin brother and I were born with a rare neuromuscular disorder that affected my life as a young boy. Kids who didn't understand what I was going through had a hard time treating me like any other normal kid. Being baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I turned eight, and receiving the gift of the holy ghost really helped me look past my disability. When I was 14 I grew out of my neuromuscular attacks and started into remission. Through fighting to find myself with my disorder and moving across the states as a young boy so many times, the experiences I have been through are what make me who I am. They are what has strengthened my testimony in the true gospel of the Mormon Chruch.

Why I am a Mormon

My father being a convert and mother having a rich history in the church really kept me on the straight and narrow path. When I turned eight I had the opportunity to choose to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and receive the holy ghost. Who wouldn't want all that and more. I chose to be baptized because it all felt right and the holy spirit was there to guide me. That day I was baptized into the LDS Church is a testament to me of why I am a member and that I am a child of god. I am a Mormon because the lord has shone me time and time again that this is his church and his true gospel. When I follow his footsteps and choose the right I find my life full of happiness and blessings. Being a Mormon is choosing to return to our heavenly father in heaven, to be married in the temple forever and all eternity (not till death do we part), and to be sealed to our families forever. This is why I am a Mormon, this is why I chose the truth.

How I live my faith

I live the word of wisdom everyday and obey the lords commandments established by the prophets of God. I strive to heed the words of our modern day prophets today. I go to church every Sunday to receive the sacrament and use my priesthood authority and perform the sacred ordinance of sacrament as a service to the congregation and Gods children. I serve my community through the Mormon Helping Hands to show that I am here to love my neighbors to help them when they are in need. I am currently serving a full time mission in the Texas Houston South Mission.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Nicholas Angel Pilon
Love thy neighbor, this is what Mormons believe in. We love to service the "members" of our community as well as "members" of the church :) Show more Show less
