Hi I'm Adam

I grew up in Alpine Utah, I wrestled and played trumpet in high school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to wrestle! I was on the varsity wrestling team my junior and senior year. I play the trumpet and guitar. I was in the marching band for 2 years in high school. I love to go sailing with my family on weekends in the summer. I plan on attending BYUI when I return from my 2 year mission, and I want to go into business. I am also into MMA (mixed martial arts). I love watching UFC fights and I grapple all the time with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It wasnt until high school that I developed a strong testimony of it for myself. When I chose to start developing my own testimony, instead of leaning on the testimony of others, the joy and happiness that came into my life was incredible! The Atonement of Jesus Christ was something that I knew about but never fully understood. I began studying the life of Christ and specifically the Atonement. Before each study session I would pray to my Heavenly Father that his Spirit would be present to guide me, to teach me, and to help me understand the things that He wanted me to understand. As I studied and listened to the Spirit I obtained a knowledge that I could not have gained from any other place than from the Spirit of the Lord. Things that I had been taught my whole life by my parents and my leaders, but never fully understood until I prayed for that knowledge to come to me by the Spirit along with diligent study and a sincere desire to learn. The Lord will not force his gospel upon you. It is something that we have to seek for ourselves. Knock and ye shall recieve. Going through this experience strengthened my testimony in free agency. God does not force us to have this knowledge. We are free to choose whether we know it or dont. It is never too late to ask or to learn. I know that God is my Heavenly Father. I knows that he loves me just as he loves all of his children. I know that he has a plan for us, and it is only through that plan that we can gain exaltation and recieve eternal life. I know that The Book of Mormon is true. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I am grateful for his Atonement and use it every day in my life. I know that through Christ, all things are possible. His Grace is sufficient, and is ready for all who are willing to recieve it.

How I live my faith

I am active in my calling at church. I help lead the youth involved with the church. I was on the Stake-Youth committee and helped plan activities that involved the whole Stake. I go hometeaching with my dad, we try to visit our families every month but it doesnt always work out. I am sometimes assigned to teach the members in my youth group. I teach them about the Atonement of Jesus Christ along with other things.
