Hi I'm Kallie

I'm studying to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. I love learning about foreign cultures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student in college. I love reading, music, and learning about the world around me. I enjoy studying the different theories of knowledge in the world and learning about how other people think. I have always been fascinated by other languages and cultures, and love to experience new traditions and aspects of other countries. My husband is Portuguese and we are excited to travel together someday!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have come to understand the simple truths and power that the gospel holds. As I have studied about Jesus Christ, His Atonement, and the basic principles of faith, baptism, the gift of the Holy Ghost, and following the commandments, I have striven to live by them. Especially as I have been away from home and accountable for my own actions and lifestyle, I have seen the blessings that come from living Christ's gospel. My life is happier, healthier, and I am a better person because I am a Mormon and live it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through teaching and helping others. I believe that it is my duty to help others learn what I know, and I have done this in the past through leadership and teaching with children and youth. I help organize events for my church and try to involve others in activities as much as possible. I served a full-time mission for the church in North Carolina and Brazil, serving and teaching the people there about the gospel of Jesus Christ and God's plan for our happiness.
