Hi I'm Hollie

I'm a student from Scotland. I'm engaged to be married. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a newly engaged young woman from the central belt of Scotland but am currently living in Fife. I enjoy music & dance but spend a lot of time studying for my degree in Social Sciences. I love to read and have recently become more and more interested in astronomy and its relation to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am spending the most of my time preparing for my marriage later this year and what that may bring afterwards. I love children and come from a family with five brothers, all younger than myself and one older sister! I love spending time with my family (both my own and my fiances) and try my best to make as much time for them as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both Mormons so I was raised from an early age with a knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I owe a lot to my parents for being so dedicated to teaching both my siblings and I so that we could understand Gods plan for us. I know how blessed I am to have been born into a family where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a part of our every day lives. I have seen the world without the Gospel and I have had experiences that have taught me that there is nothing else for me out there than Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Fathers plan. I am a Mormon because I have felt the Spirit of the Lord ever present in my life and have gained a knowledge of the truthfulness of the LDS Faith. My family means more to me than anything and I know that following my Saviour Jesus Christ is the only way for me to be with them forever. I have read the accounts of Jesus Christs ministry both in the Bible and Book of Mormon and I believe he truly existed, performed miracles, died for all of our sins and was resurrected again. I am ever grateful to Him and know I can show him so by living His teachings so that I may return to Him and thank Him face to face.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like my Saviour Jesus Christ in everything I do. I try to love and be kind to everyone I come into contact with and serve those in need. I served as a teacher in my home ward, teaching each Sunday about the Gospel to the others in my class. I also served as a representative for the young people in my area, planning activities and ways for us all to get together and spend time with one another. I participated in visiting teaching where I had the wonderful opportunity to visit other women from my ward in their homes and chat to them as well as sharing a spiritual message. I am now getting to know my new ward in Fife and looking for new ways to serve there.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?
