Hi I'm Jennifer Lyon

I'm a Mormon. I know it. I like it. I love it!

About Me

I am currently attending my freshman year at college where I am planning on majoring in nursing. On August 21st, I will be heading to the Provo MTC where I will be training to be Gods instrument in bringing others unto the arms of Christ. I will be serving my mission in Korea, Daejeon. I am so excited for this opportunity to serve my Heavenly Father. Although I know that my mission will not be easy, I know that this is what my loving Father in Heaven wants me to be doing right now and that I will be blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up my whole life being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am so grateful to be a member of this church and I know that my life would be so different if I were not a member of this church. I love the fact that I can speak whenever and wherever to my Heavenly Father, as I know that he listens to every single word that I say. I know that he is sad when I am sad - as he is happy when I am happy. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have of what my purpose is here on earth and what happens next. I have no doubt that I will see and live with my family and loved ones again someday. These are some of the few reasons of why I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Serving others is something that I do to live my faith. A simple, small act of kindness can go a long way and change many lives. As a daughter of God, I want others to know this truth also and to know that they are loved. My philosophy is this: giving someone a simple smile, "hello", "have a great day", or opening the door for someone makes a persons day so much better. I love to see people smile and see the difference that I can make in their life.
