Hi I'm Kenyon Davis

I grew up in Arizona all my life. I love to swim and pole vault. I can play 11 instruments. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to do sports and music. My absolute favorite sport is pole vaulting. It's just such a thrill to fly through the air on the end of a pole and go 10, 11, 12 feet strait up in the air. My hobby and passion in life would have to be music though. There's just something about it that speaks to my soul in a way that words never will be able to do. The satisfaction that comes from playing an instrument and learning a new piece of music is just something that is beyond me. I grew in a very diverse family. My mom is Mexican and my dad's ancestors come from Wales so I a little bit of kick out of telling people that. It's just so interesting seeing how somethings in peoples lives affect them especially your family. Family is by far one the most important things to me, in fact I think of my brother as my best friend. My parents are incredible to me because of how much they sacrifice for me and my family. My mom works 3 jobs, 2 of which she owns, and my dad has to fly to Washington state every Sunday night so that he can provide for us. One of the things I am most thankful to them for is their willingness to serve God and live by His commandments.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church and what it teaches. Even more than that I love the sweet spirit I feel when I'm doing what is right and when I'm around other of my faith. The simple and sweet message that God and Jesus Christ love me is really what has helped me through the difficult times in my life.

How I live my faith

I've always loved the church because the many people that I can relate to in it. I've been in many leadership positions in the youth program and I was able to earn my Eagle Scout award through it.
