Hi I'm Inna

I'm Ukrainian. I'm a convert. I believe laughing is the best medicine. Serving in the Hawaii Honolulu Mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Ukraine in the small town of Donetsk. About 7 years ago I was adopted by a family in Salt Lake City and after couple of months I was converted to the church. I feel so very blessed by Heavenly Father to give me a second chance in life. I was blessed with new family, new friends, new opportunities and especially the Gospel. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love any kind of outdoor activities, especially hiking and water sports. My perfect day would probably be out on the boat in Lake Powell, surfing and enjoying time with my wonderful family. I believe good laugh, ice cream and Mexican food can make any day better. Right now I am serving a mission in Hawaii. Mission has been one of the greatest decision that I have ever made. I have learned so much and still learning new things everyday. My other half is serving his mission in Russia. I am grateful for this gospel and specially for my Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know the gospel is true. Throughout the years it has blessed my life and my family. I love being a part of this religion because it makes me a better person. I am a mormon because I know it, I live it and I love it!

How I live my faith

At 6:30 AM the sound of my alarm interrupts my dreams. I force open my tired eyes and roll out of bed and onto my knees. I am a missionary. I wear the same five skirts and worn out muumuu and slippers as I serve every day at the Hawaii Temple Visitors' Center, preaching and teaching and working as missionaries do. I talk to people young and old, white and black, tall and short, kind and..... not so kind. I talk to people at the bus stations, on street corners and on front porches- searching for the Lord's elect. I study the scriptures for hours and hours and I pray on an hourly basis. I teach lessons about the restored gospel. I visit the sick and comfort the lonely and serve those in need. I invite others to come unto Christ. And I witness Christ's miracles every single day. I can see His hand and feel His presence as I strive to walk in His very footsteps, to bring happiness and salvation to the children of God. I represent Him. My black name tag identifies me to the world as a representative of Jesus Christ. When its finally 10:30 PM I collapse back into my bed, feeling like I've made a difference in the world. I love being a missionary!
