Hi I'm Cameron Raburn

I am a movie enthusiast. I believe that having a positive attitude can change the world. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Eagle Mountain, Utah. I have Utah pride. I have two brothers and one little sister. I am the oldest. I am currently serving a mission in Everett, Washington. I would say that I have always had some form or another of a testimony of this Church. But it hasn't been until I have served a mission that I have been able to see the purifying power of the atonement of Jesus Christ affect so many of God's children. I have also seen it cleanse me and help me through some of the hardest times of my life. I have a firm belief that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ care more about our progression than our comfort. They sure do show that to me every day since I have developed faith in Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because after much pondering and prayer I was able to do what Moroni, a prophet in the Book of Mormon, exhorts all men everywhere to do. That is to ask of God. I did that and the power of the Holy ghost told me that this was true through the feelings in my hear and the impressions that have come to mind. I receive a witness of it whenever I testify or hear others testify. I know this church is true.

How I live my faith

Something that I admire about the church is that it is more than just something you do on Sunday. It's and everyday life style. We believe that enduring to the end is a part of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Which means that you are working at it every single day of your life. That is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance. I am by no means whatsoever perfect. But I take the Saviors commandment to be like him, and to come unto him, quite literally. The only way that either of those are possible is through living the gospel and working at it every day.
