Hi I'm Avery

I was born and raised in Utah. Life is amazing and this Gospel is my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and it is amazing. Some of my hobbies are that I love watching movies with my siblings, going to the batting cages, and I love watching baseball and basketball on TV on occasion. I love going on walks, and vacations with my family. Our favorite place to go together is Disneyland, and second Yellowstone. When I go to college I would love to go into Linguistics, the study of languages. History is also another interest of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member, so I have always had the gospel in my life. God gave us the amazing gift of agency, the ability to chose for ourselves, accepting whatever consequences that brings us, whether good or bad. I have to agency whether to live the Gospel, or to not live it. Even though I was born a member of the church, when I go out on my own, that doesn't mean that I had to stay a faithful member, but I chose to and that and it has blessed my life immensely. I am a Mormon because I know this church is true, and there is no way I could ever deny that all the blessings I have received in my life came from God. I have a testimony that this church is true, that God created all the is good in the world, the earth itself, and us. I know that I am here because he has sent me here and I have a purpose of being here, and I want to fulfill that purpose. I am so grateful to have been born in the gospel and to have the family and friends that I have. I wouldn't give that up for anything in the world. And I am so grateful for all the blessings I have received from living the Gospel and having good standards.

How I live my faith

I live the Gospel every day of my life, and I love it. I go to church every Sunday, attend all of my classes, and go to church activities. I love to be a good example to others. When I was younger, my friends and I had a friend who was not a member of the church, and she would always tell us that she would be someday. As a young kid, I never thought much of it. After she moved, I didn't hear anything from her for years. I recently got in contact with her, and she is the most amazing person. She attends church, and is such a great example to me and to so many others around her. I am so grateful for her and her diligence in finding the gospel, knowing even from a young age that it would bless her in her life and bring so much joy to her as well as her family. I realized then that being a good example at all times, even without thinking about it, really makes a big difference. I do my best to always be a good example to those around me, as well as looking and learning from the good examples around me. People do notice you, whether you realize it or not. There are always people out there looking up to you and trying to learn, so it is so important to live good standards, setting a good example for all those around you, especially your families.
