Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a ginger. I love to travel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending university to become a history teacher. I love to sing, dance, and play sports, though I am far from excellent in any of these areas. My favorite weather is rain. This is when the afore mentioned activities are most joyous.

Why I am a Mormon

My whole life I have struggled finding answers to spiritual questions. I was raised Mormon, but I would go through phases where I honestly had no clue if any of it was true. I thought it was, but I wasn't sure. As I have put the challenge in The Book of Mormon to the test, I have received answers many times about its truthfulness. The scripture says: "And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." The answers aren't always immediate, but they come. I can feel the Holy Ghost in my heart and I know it is true. Each day as I live what I know, I receive even more assurance that this is the gospel of Jesus Christ restored on the Earth and that He really cares for me!

How I live my faith

Each day I live my faith through the things I do and choices I make. By studying the Book of Mormon and the Bible each day, and talking to my Father in Heaven through pray many times daily, I am showing faith in God. It is also in the little actions each day. A smile when someone is having a bad day, a compliment, or telling someone you love them. There is a song we sing as children called, "I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus." It sounds simple, but that is really all I do. Right now, I am a Mormon missionary. I share what I know with others in Northern California and on Facebook! The mission I am in covers from as far South as the San Francisco bridge, as North as Crescent City, as West as the Ocean, and as East Woodland area. I am spending 18 months here and all I do is share the gospel! It can be hard to believe, but that is it. I spend all day every day with a fellow missionary teaching and talking to people. I have left my family in Utah and I won't see them again until I return home. It can be hard at times, but it is worth it. I am able to help others come closer to Christ!
