Hi I'm Camille

I'm a missionary enthusiast. I'm a lion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a girl that has been raised to live simply. I have grown up between fields of beauty. I have been able to be free and enjoy my childhood by roaming around daily outside imagining and growing. I love the world and how there are so many various cultures, yet everyone is similar in ways. I love to travel and have conversations with others. I try to find the beauty in everyone that I come in contact with. I love to interact with people and find out similarities because we all have them. I enjoy different tastes of food in my mouth and scents in the air. I love to clog. By clogging, I have been able to be on a Folk Dance team that has traveled the world. We have been able to go to festivals with different countries and be able to meet and forever be friends with these people. I love the outdoors. I find nature simply magnificent. The beauty in everything makes me just want to help others around me see that too.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church since I was eight years old. Since then I can tell how powerful the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost have strengthened me beyond measure. I have had my ups and downs. During those down portions, I find myself cleaving to my Heavenly Father. I then feel His arms wrap around me and lift me up. This is the reason why I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This church defines me. It makes everything understandable. Sometimes I find myself questioning why I believe the things I do and then I remember how unbelievable everything fits in to place through this gospel of Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ's Atonement we can all be saved. His Atonement has been so comforting and continuous throughout my life. Every time I make a mistake or sin, I come to more of an understanding of how much Jesus Christ went through during His lifetime for me. He also went through all of the pain and afflictions for you too. He loves you so much. I know this because of how much comfort I have received during the happiest times and the saddest times. I know that we are on this earth to learn, grow, and develop into what Heavenly Father wants us to become. We all have potential and all are equal in the site of God. This gospel of Jesus Christ has become my life. It is something that unifies me. It makes me happy and feel whole. I never want to lose this feeling of peace and comfort that I feel everyday by being a member of this church. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet who saw God, the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ. Sometimes I feel like this gospel is difficult to understand, but it is rather simple. The simplicity of this church gives me qualities of faith and hope. I love being a Mormon. I love being able to realize that families can be together forever. I want to share this gospel with everyone.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission the London South Mission. It is difficult sometimes to always have to come out of my bubble and talk about the gospel of Jesus Christ with others, but when I do I feel His love embraced around me. I have seen miraculous things occur and it just makes me see how much faith can actually do. I focus on the simplicity of the gospel and try to share that message with others. I have been given all kinds of gifts on this earth, especially the gift of the Holy Ghost, which I always strive to have to help me be an instrument in my Father in Heaven's work. I love this companion and I feel joy knowing that everyone can feel of the Spirit. I try to help people feel of God's love for them each and every day.
