Hi I'm Hillary

I grew up in Syracuse, Utah my whole life and I just finished my Associates Degree. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am an avid reader of books and I love to quilt all types of quilts. I volunteered at a local hospital for three years and loved helping every person. I just finished my Associate's degree in General education and hope to finish my Master's degree in engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who were members, so I was brought up in a very good and safe environment. I leaned on their testimony for the longest time but came to a point in my life where I had to evaluate myself and the principles I believed in. I prayed and studied about it and gained a testimony that the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints were truly inspired of God and that Jesus Christ is truly my Savior; that He loves me and every single person who has lived or will live on this earth. He loved them so much that He was willing to endure agonizing pain beyond any human capability so that we could be resurrected and return to live with our Heavenly Father. I recognized that the actions I took when obeying God's commandments made me infinitely happier than when I was living apart from Him.

How I live my faith

I live my life in a way that I can be open to progress and growth. I am not perfect, but through the knowledge I possess and through Jesus Christ, I feel certain that I can do anything that He wants me to. I love to help others feel just as happy as I do. I am currently serving in a church calling where I reach out to new members of my single adult ward and make sure they feel welcome and included. I contact people who haven't been coming and make sure they feel like our ward is a place they can come to and feel included and loved. I also go with a friend who is in my ward and we visit a couple of girls in their home to make sure everything in their lives is going good and to ask if they need anything.
