Hi I'm Natalie

I'm from Southern California. I love rain and old people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Southern California and my whole life has revolved around and included music. I basically love all types of music and I play the piano, French horn, flute, piccolo, organ, and of course, the cowbell. I love rain, thunderstorms, ketchup, wide open spaces, all things Disney, the beach, giggling, free samples, old houses, photography, sunsets, and ice skating. I am quite fluent in Spanglish and am semi-adept at American Sign Language. I am currently a senior at Brigham Young University in Utah studying Communication Disorders. I aspire to be a Speech Pathologist, after going to graduate school and getting a masters degree in Speech Therapy. I love getting to know people and making people smile. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am NOT a Mormon simply because I was born into a Mormon family. I am Mormon because I have come to know for myself that this gospel is true. I know that Jesus Christ is at the head of this church, and it is His church restored again in its fulness on the earth today. I love this gospel and I love the peace and happiness it brings into my daily life. I know that prayer is a line of direct communication with our Father in Heaven, and that He loves us! He loves me, and YOU! Everyone that has ever lived, is living, or has yet to live on this earth is a child of our Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus Christ is our best friend and brother, and because of his Atonement for us, we are given the opportunity to repent for our sins as often as needed and have the great blessing of having a shoulder to cry on and a friend to help lift our heavy burdens. My life is far from perfect, but this church gives me daily hope and a renewed desire to try a little harder to be a little better and everything will be alright in the end.

How I live my faith

Serving others has become very important to me in my life. Because of the countless people who have blessed my life with their kindness, I always try and give back. I am not yet perfect at being the nicest person ever, but I'm trying to be better every day. My religion inspires me to spearhead service projects, beautify the community, and be looking out for those who need their day brightened a little. I have served in my church by providing accompaniment for worship services and helping to organize weekly activities for people to attend and have a good time.
