Hi I'm Dan

I'm studying Electrical Engineering. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently studying to get a degree in Electrical Engineering. Technology has always been something that has fascinated and interested me. I really love music. I enjoy listening to good music and attending concerts, especially rock and metal. I believe there is uplifting music in every genre. I enjoy spending time outdoors. I like spending time with good friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon because my parents are and that's the way I was raised. Growing up, I always felt good about the church and participated mainly just because it was expected of me and I had no reason not to. After I graduated from high school and moved out on my own I had the ability to make whatever decisions I wanted to. I soon realized that I could no longer just go through the motions with my religious beliefs and I had to figure out for myself if the things I had been taught growing up were true. It wasn't a quick process. I spent the next few years studying things I had been taught more in depth so I could understand things for myself. I spent a lot of time reading, praying, and applying things that I had learned. I knew that if I was to find out, I needed to apply John 7:17 "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine." As I have taken the time to apply the doctrines that I have learned, I have learned for myself that they are true. I have seen many blessings as I have strive to follow Christ and His teachings. I have had multiple confirmations from the Holy Spirit of the truth of the teachings in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I know that Christ is my Savior and I am grateful for all that He has done for me.

How I live my faith

I help oversee the men of my congregation and make sure that there needs are met. I also help oversee and encourage them to visit other members of the congregation in their homes.
