Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a student at BYU Idaho. I am a missionary in Montevideo Uruguay. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Andrew but most people call me Andy. I just finished my first semester of college. I participated in a lot of different activities in high school including basketball, tennis, and debate. I would like to study law or maybe international relations. I have grown up in the church my whole life, but only recently have I really been developing my relationship with my Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the church. I struggled very much with my testimony while I was in high school even though I continued to do all of the right things. I felt like I was only being obedient to please my own parents. This was good enough while I was living at home, but when I moved out to go to college, I needed to find my own testimony. After searching and praying very much, I now know that church is true. I know that both our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ love us very much and I want to do everything in my power to be an obedient disciple of His.

How I live my faith

While I was in high school, I was in charge of all of the 16-17 year old boys in my ward. I would organize many activities and teach the lessons in church on most Sundays. This calling made me work harder to serve the Lord, which was very good for my own development. I was released from doing that when I graduated. Now I will be serving one of the Lord's missionaries trying to spread his gospel to as many people as I can.
