Hi I'm Levi Lima

I live around Boston, my city is called Everett. I was born in Brazil, but Boston has been my home for over 24 years.

About Me

I love being an LDS, the best decision I have ever made. I am a simple person who loves Hawaii, my favorite vacation spot. I hope to live three someday. I love the Hawaiian culture and people. I love photography and I am trying to become a professional photographer. I was attending BYU-I online, took a break for now but planning on going back soon. I enjoy soccer, baseball (go Red Sox) and football (go Patriots) and every chance I have to watch a BYU football game, I will. I love camping and I have been blessed with closeness of Palmyra NY, besides going to watch the Cumorah Hill pageant and walk at around the sacred grove, it is my chance to camp.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon, because I was taught early in my life by a very good friend of mine, about the church history as well as the book of mormon. I was baptized several years latter. To be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter days saints to me is everything. I found happiness here, I was taught to love and respect other, and I have been taught to love and respect other not of my faith, specially respect their religion and their point view. I don't know how my life would have been without the influence of the teaching of the Savior taught in here in the LDS church. If to be mormon is to be happy, well I guess I am one happy mormon.

How I live my faith

I love that faith that I have embraced since my teenager years, I was baptized in Rio de Janeiro in 1986, I served a mission In the lovely garden state New Jersey, 91-93. Currently I am attending a small but awesome Portuguese branch, and serving as genealogy leader.

Are Mormons Christians?

Levi Lima
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints,is the real name of the church, our very name helps anyone to recognize that we worship Christ. The name of Christ is in the word Christianity. We are christians because we love Christ, we serve Him, we worship Him, and the church is not our, the church is His. Show more Show less
