Hi I'm Reagan Quinn

I'm a Texas Aggie. I'm a teacher. I'm a songwriter. I'm a full-time missionary. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Reagan Quinn. I'm 23 years old, and I am a full time missionary for La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Ultimos Dias, or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I grew up in College Station, Texas, and I'm a die-hard Texas A&M fan! Currently, however, I am serving my mission in Spokane, Washington, speaking Spanish. Before my full time service for my church, I was a pre-school teacher for 2 and a half years. Teaching is the love of my life, and I miss it tremendously. However, becoming a missionary has made me a better teacher by learning to love everyone the way Jesus Christ loves us. I also play the guitar, piano, as well as songwrite. Although I miss those parts of my life, giving up the things I love does not feel like a sacrifice. Missionary work is so rewarding and consuming...even addicting in a way! I know that I will become a better person because of my mission. I believe that giving up music and teaching for 18 months as a missionary will bless me more than I could imagine.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have learned for myself that I am a daughter of God, and He has restored His gospel. I believe every single principle I now teach. I have experienced the atonement of Jesus Christ in my life. I have a wonderful family who taught me in my youth to love and obey God. Because of my parent´s choices, I had a happy and wonderful childhood. Because of my own choices, I became the woman I am today. When I was 10 years old, my family experienced tremendous tragedy when we lost my little sister, Callie. However, my parents chose to turn to, and rely on, the support of a loving Heavenly Father. Instead of letting this experience tear our family apart, they let it bring us closer together. In turn, it brought us closer than we could have imagined to each other, and to our God. This tragedy shaped my childhood, and the faith I found from that experience has shaped my life. I KNOW that families can be together forever! I know that through the gospel of Jesus Christ I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again. Yo se que Jesucristo es el Hijo de Dios, y es el Salvador del mundo. Yo se que Dios es El Padre Celestial de todas las personas en el mundo. El teine mucho amor por nosotros y quiere que nosotros vivamos con El otra vez. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to share this message with the world. My service as a full-time mission means everything to me.

How I live my faith

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we stress the importance of family. My greatest desire in life is to be an outstanding mother and wife. I have worked hard to perfect myself for my future companion, and to perfect my ability as a teacher and caretaker in order to be the best mother possible. I live my faith by developing my talents, continually learning, showing an outpouring of love towards the children I care for, and helping those around me realize the importance of a stable family environment.
