Hi I'm Caden Johnson

I grew up in Syracuse, Utah. I want to become a physician's assistant after completing my mission. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am the fourth child out of six. I plan on going to college after my mission and becoming a physicians assistant. I like to draw and to paint. I enjoy playing football with my brothers. I worked at a Wendy's for a year and a half. I currently have a job as a Lifeguard. When I was little I loved to play soccer. I have a strong interest in anything medical. I love my family and are very grateful for them. I took a trip to Nauvoo for spring break in April. I am ecstatic about serving the Lord on a mission to Chihuahua, Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

There are MANY reasons why I am a mormon, but one of the strongest reasons why I love this gospel is because of the Plan of Salvation, or knowing that family members or friends that we have lost in this life, will be reunited with us in the next life. My grandpa recently passed away due to cancer. I shared a very close relationship with him. When I went to his viewing and saw his body in the casket, I was very sad but at the same time I felt an overwhelming peace. I felt this peace by the means of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost was telling me not to worry because I WILL see my grandpa again. The truthfulness of the gospel and the Plan of Salvation was made clear to me that day. Dealing with the loss of a loved one can be very difficult. But with the knowledge of this plan, I find peace to know that death is not the end. Because of the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for all of us, we can be made whole again and be with our loved ones for eternity. One of my favorite scriptures is in the Book of Mormon. It is Mosiah chapter 16 verse 8. It reads: But there is a resurrection, therefore the grave hath no victory, and the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ. This scripture is so powerful to me because I have truly felt the the sorrow being taken from me when I felt the Holy Ghost. I love this gospel and I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know in my heart and believe with everything in me, that this is the true church. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and he did restore the gospel on this earth for all of us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith not only on Sundays, but everyday. Throughout the week, I strive to be a Christ-like example and to follow all the commandments. I attend seminary and plan on graduating from seminary with four years of credit. I watch for those who seem to need a friend or a helping hand. I try to share the gospel of Jesus Christ as often as I can. On Sundays I attend church services, teach lessons, and was a leader for my youth age group. I hometeach with my dad and enjoy going to other families.
