Hi I'm Lindsey

I'm from Colorado. I'm a college student. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love going on adventures and being with my family and friends. I am studying to become an elementary school teacher. I am a sister, a daughter, a granddaughter, and friend. I love the world and I really am loving life right now.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up a member of the Church. But, I wanted it to be my decision, when I got older, if I would continue to go to church. I have gained my own personal testimony of this gospel. I read the Book of Mormon, multiple times, with the intent to know of its truthfulness. After sincere, hard work, I received my personal witness that it is true. And because the Book of Mormon is true, so is everything else. Joseph Smith was a true prophet that restored Christ's church to the earth again. I am a Mormon because there's no one else I'd rather be. I am safe and protected when I attend church and nourish my testimony. I am a Mormon because the teachings taught in this church are making me the person I've always wanted to be and that I'm now starting to become. I'm a Mormon because I know it's true. I've prayed and pondered a lot, and I know that this church is true and it's where I need to be. There's no other way I could grow so much or learn so much. I feel God's love for me often and I know He's happy with the decision I've made to be a member of this church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by being kind to others and loving them as Jesus does. At church, I participate in the discussions in my classes. Sometimes, I help teach the children lessons and stories from the scriptures. I am consistently trying to become my best self and I do that by attending church and learning the things Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want me to hear and improve in my life. Living my faith is a daily effort.
