Hi I'm Sophie

I am a Performer, Performing Arts teacher, a Carer, a Wife and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love performing and sharing this love through teaching children. I am also a Carer for a young girl with disabilities, a job which enriches my life immensely. I am a wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, niece and friend. I love my family and spending time with them. I am a homebody at heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by wonderful parents who taught me to be good and kind, so when I met my now husband and he shared with me his beliefs I knew it was what I believed too. I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint and was baptised when I was 23. I believe in showing kindness, respect and love. I believe in change for good and forgiveness. I believe there is hope and joy to be found in this life and there is a purpose for everyone. I also believe that when we die our spirits live on, I believe that Jesus Christ is what makes all this possible. I believe in prayer and then gaining answers to prayers. I believe that if someone was to read the Book of Mormon with true intent and an open heart, they would be blessed. I'm so grateful to be a member of this church as it has blessed my life in countless ways!

How I live my faith

I have the privilege of teaching and supporting the young women (age 12-18) of the church I attend. I help plan and run activities for them and try to be a good friend too! I try to be an example to them by striving to keep the commandments and using the saviour as my guide.
