Hi I'm Emily

I am from Utah. I love my family. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love the mountains and the outdoors. I love rainy and gloomy days. I love to bake. I have the best family and friends. I love them to the moon and back. I love all things beautiful.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church. My parents and grandparents were and still are active members of the church. My faith might seem in genuine because I was born into it. This is not true. Growing up I went to church and went through the motions because that is what my parents made me do. It was not until I was about 18 that I really gained my own personal testimony. It wasn't one magical incident that helped me gain my testimony. It was years of trials and work that made me realize for myself how truly amazing this gospel is. You can only know it is true by living it. That is how I gained my testimony. I know that this is God's one true church. I know that my Savior died on the cross for me. He has lifted me up and has made my burden light. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and was called of God to restore this truthful gospel. I know that President Monson is a true prophet. I know that he and all the other general authorities have been called of God to run the church at this time. I know that My father in heaven has a special plan for me. I know that he loves me and is watching out for me. I know that it is hard and confusing sometimes but I also know with everything in me that this is a true gospel. I cannot and I will not deny it. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through everyday activities. I pray to my Heavenly Father everyday. I read my scriptures and find peace in them. I live my faith by loving and serving others. It is the little things everyday that make my faith grow big.
