Hi I'm Lorraine

I am a Londoner, a wife, a mother and a Mormon.

About Me

I like art and culture, intelligent conversation and before I begin to sound like a geek... to have a good laugh. Many years ago I studied art and graphic design. More recently I worked in facilities management for a property company. I am now married to a wonderful man and have two little boys that keep me on my toes. Although at times I may feel like a hassled housewife, my family are my joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am one of seven children all raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My parents are converts and it is our faith that has shaped and defined our family. Growing up in the church in a place where not many people are religious you really had to believe in order to stick with it. Whilst young I really had to find out for myself if this is also something which I should follow. Thankfully I had that confirmation and now each day I feel a peace and joy that only the gospel of Jesus Christ can provide. I love being a wife and a mother, and I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying with my family every day and reading my scriptures regularly. I also currently help out with teaching the children at church on a Sunday. Years ago I served a mission for the church. I was sent to Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah and the time I spent there was possibly the most significant 18 months of my life.
