Hi I'm Ashley

I was born in wyoming, I was raised Methodist and at the age of fifteen I was babtized. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have my pilots license and I spend most of my time in the air, when I am not flying I am either at school or something church related. I fly a 182, trikes, and hangliders. I go to college and I was originally planning on graduating as soon as I could but I have decided to go on a mission

Why I am a Mormon

I was babtized at age of 15 and wasn't fully converted yet, I got baptized, like most kids do, to please my father. My father was a member growing up but fell away and became very inactive, he grew up and married a nonmember who later became my mom. When I was 13 they got divorced and because one girl on our basketball team made a basket we started coming to church. Later when my father finally had the authority to baptize me and my two younger siblings I was baptized although I was not fully converted. My true conversion has came this last year after I graduated high school. I started going to the singles branch (now ward) and it changed my life, as I started to live my life willingly according to the gospel principles I gained a true testimony of this Church and it's prophets. I started to keep the Sabbath day holy and I started regular personal prayer and scripture study, by doing this I have seen my prayers answered and I know that this is the true church of God and if you follow the lords commandments and stay actively engaged you too will know, without a doubt that this is the true and restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I like to help others even if it's just a smile because just a simple smile will go a long way. I have a calling as a ward missionary and although I have not done anything with this calling (I was just called this last week) I look forward to start bringing people to christ. I enjoy visiting teaching as well although I do not do it as often as I should.
