Hi I'm Taanari Moangare Tawetia

Hi, I love dancing, singing and laughing and I am a MORMON!

About Me

I am a daughter of good parents, a sister of three brothers, I am a Return missionary served in the England London South Mission. I love singing, dancing, sports and laughing. And I would love to say that I'M A MRMON!. :)

Why I am a Mormon

Seeing my mom's courageous to make us happy and to partake of the blessings of the Gospel I was able to question myself something i needed to know. I studied science in school and never realized that God created the earth for us. I sticked to the knowledge and understanding of science that the earth just existed in a BIG BANG!. The more i did my experiment the more i started to question myself how i got the answer by just experimenting, i felt that there was more way to find the answer. Because of it, my question was about God if he was exist. I remember as a young child being encouraged to read the Book of Mormon and prayed to God. I put it in a test to find out for myself, it was hard for me at first as i really enjoyed worldly things with my friends. One day i made a mess in my family that i felt so quilt and i couldn't overcome that feeling. In the afternoon on a rainy day in my dark room i knelt down and offered up my heart with tears on my cheek to someone that i didn't know before to help me. Soon after my prayer i felt a warm feeling came upon me and in my heart and i just couldn't stop crying. Since that time i knew that God was there for me and that He answered my prayer. I felt peace and calmed and knew that everything would be alright. I know that God loves each one of us and He wants us to know Him and to become like Him. I also know that being a Mormon teaches us things that we didn't know before.

How I live my faith

Being a daughter is such a blessing for me. Every family has something to be thankful for. But as for me i am so grateful that my parents could bring me up to be a good girl and living the commandments of God for my own benefit in life. There were some days in my life that i just wanted to give up or made me so tired, but the Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me overcome my own trials as a teenager to move on. Every trial i have is for my own learning and to strengthen my knowledge that God is my Loving Heavenly Father and that He loves me so much. I'm so grateful to know that Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us which is called the Plan of Salvation (Happiness) to be able to know where we came from, why we are here on earth and then where we are going after this life. Understanding this plan gives me hope that there is more to come and to be learned to live a better life. Now I can honestly say that I do know who I AM. I AM A DAUGHTER OF GOD!.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Taanari Moangare Tawetia
In “The Family: A Proclamation to the World” many Mormon beliefs about families are outlined. One of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ core beliefs is that family relationships can last forever—not just for this life. Just as some of life’s sweetest joys can come through family associations, the loss of a beloved family member can be a source of our deepest sorrows. But death does not need to be the end of our relationships with cherished loved ones. The Lord revealed to the Prophet Joseph Smith that the “same sociality which exists among us here will exist among us there [in eternity], only it will be coupled with eternal glory” (Doctrine and Covenants 130:2). Family members who accept the Atonement of Jesus Christ and follow His example can be together forever through sacred ordinances performed in God’s holy temples. Jesus gave to Peter the power to have things sealed on earth and sealed in heaven (Matthew 16:19). This same sealing power was restored to Joseph Smith. Mormon’s believe that they can be “sealed” or bound together through His power enabling them to live together in eternity. Show more Show less
