Hi I'm Lucas

I was born in Idaho. Working hard and family fun are always present in my life. I"m a Mormon.

About Me

I love to have fun. I participate in many different activities ranging from paintballing and soccer to snowmobiling and skiing, but the best thing in life to do is smile. I enjoy making my friends and family laugh, even people I do not know. Being an Eagle Scout has taught me many things from working hard and having fun to first aid. Everyday is a different adventure, one that I am prepared for.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the great joy that it brings to me. I can see love and happiness radiating from my family and friends that are members as well. I know other people can see it, and even feel it. It's hard to explain exactly how it feels, but when you do feel it you know as it fills your entire body. It makes you want to jump for joy, like you are bursting with energy. Even in sad situations, like when my 15 year old cousin died, I felt the love that the gospel offers. It makes burdens so much easier to carry knowing of the love that Jesus Christ has for us, and that I can live with my family through eternity by living the gospel.

How I live my faith

In my ward and community there are many people who are unable to perform certain activities such as yard work or house maintenance due to age, injury, or financial situations. I love helping these people with my brethren and sisters in the gospel. Seeing people go from "How am i ever going to get this project finished?" to "It's done" is such a magnificent sight. The joy, and sometimes tears, that come from this is what truly brings happiness and comradery to a community.
