Hi I'm Todd

I grew up in Sandy, UT, sing in a southern gospel quartet called Mountain Blue, and teach ballroom dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the Arts! I have enjoyed singing all over the United States, Jerusalem, and Europe, touring with groups such as the Millennium Choir, Odyssey Choir, and the LDS Business College Choir. I have also sung with both the Brigham Young University Men's Chorus and Concert Choir, and a southern gospel, bluegrass, a cappella quartet Mountain Blue. I love conducting music, I have performed recordings on ten publicly released albums, including my solo album "Redeeming Love." I also love to dance and teach both Standard and Latin dancing, and have learned over 40 different types of dances (don't ask me to name them all ;). I also enjoy playing volleyball, bowling, tennis and soccer, and eating cold cereal for breakfast. I am still searching for my eternal companion, but look forward to having a family of my own. I have earned my AAS in both Business and Computer Information Technology, including an Accounting Certificate and a four-year Institute Certificate from LDS Business College, and a BS in Humanities—Media Arts with a Music Minor from Brigham Young University. I love scouting and thanks to my parents example I earned my Eagle Scout Award, served a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Harrisburg, PA mission (the sweetest mission in the church, thanks to the Hershey Factory, and the saints that live there), and work in the security industry.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of Christ's restored church on the earth because it's true. It teaches me to be a better disciple of Christ, it contains all the saving ordinances for me to be sealed to and live with my family throughout the eternities, and it contains the fullness of Christ's gospel, Priesthood power, and a knowledge of the plan of salvation. I know that God lives, that he loves us. Jesus Christ is the literal Son of God, and through his atonement we may be forgiven of our sins, and because of His resurrection all mankind will live again after this life. I know the Holy Ghost is real, and can teach us the truth of all things. I know we have a living prophet on the earth today, with counselors and a quorum of twelve apostles, just as in the old world when Christ first established His church, who lead this church with authority in our day. I know both the Bible and the Book of Mormon are testaments of Christ, and by sincerely studying them our testimonies will be strengthened, answers to all of life's questions can be answered, and we will come to know Christ and our relationship with Him. I have a testimony of wholesome, righteous music and it's influence for good in our lives. I know that we may have peace in our lives as we have God's love in our hearts, and that we can return to live in the presence of our loving Heavenly Father, His son, and our loved ones in the next life if we live in obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel in this life.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in a variety of callings in my little branch of 800 mid-singles, including stake auditor, district supervisor over home teaching as well as a home teacher to seven members of our branch. I also have a calling to sing in the ward choir, and I teach one of our gospel doctrine classes during Sunday School. I love to look for the good in others and brag about others, rather than gossip negatively about them, and helping those in need. I am grateful to have been the recipient of angelic service and hope to give back to my community the same.
