Hi I'm Danicia

I'm a mother to 4 boys and wife to one handsome man. I'm a classically trained musician. I sing opera. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of four boys ages 8 on down. And they are PURE BOY with amazing imaginations! My family is the most important part of my life. I teach children's music program called Let's Play Music from my home to help support our family while my wonderful husband, who we don't see much of, is in grad school. I grew up in an area known as the Mormon Colonies in northern Mexico. I have a degree in Vocal Performance, and hope to join an opera company when my children get a little older.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been in the church since the days of Joseph Smith and I'm very proud of that long line of dedicated disciples of Christ. But I am a Mormon still today because of the many witnesses I have received for myself, of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have never seen angels or had a miraculous experience. But I have had many small, quiet feelings and answers to prayers that have left me with no doubt that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the Lord's true church, patterned after the Church He organized when He was on the earth. I am a Mormon because of the perspective the Gospel gives me, because of how it makes me remember what really matters in life. I am grateful every day when I gather my little family around me for prayer before leaving for school or work, grateful that I know that if we all live righteously and keep the Commandments, we can be together FOREVER, even after death, because of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know the Lord loves me and is happy with my efforts to try to become the woman that I want to be. And as our prophet Gordon B. Hinckley said, I "try each day to be a little better", and I will keep trying!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to keep a positive outlook on life and treat others the way that Christ would. Even with all the crazy stuff going on in the world, I believe most people are good. I try to teach my children to follow Christ and do what He would do, so that they can be strong men and be good examples. I try to be a loving, supportive wife. I help teach the children in my congregation and love to hear their sweet little voices sing of how they are children of God and that Jesus does really live again! I visit other women in their homes and help to brighten their days with laughter or a reminder of the Lord's love for them.
