Hi I'm Ashlyn

I grew up in St. George, Utah. I love to laugh and volunteer at the local Hospital. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 4 children, and I totally love being the oldest. I just recently moved up to college and I discovered I love learning. I am working on getting into the nursing program at my college. I have gotten involved with the service activities department on campus and I was the on the committee for Team Madison, our hospital volunteering program on campus, and was also the Manager of the Hospice organization. I love to see the peoples faces light up when I serve them and I cant keep myself away from the wonderful feel it brings.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the comforting feeling that the members of this church provide. My family just moved and it was so nice to know that we could go to church and find friends and people that are on our team that can help you through that difficult transition. You get this feeling that you are never alone and it is so comforting. The LDS church brings so much peace to my mind and it can answer just about every question a person can have. It provides security and support in this test we are living. It helps me understand why I am here, what I should be doing with my life, and what will happen when people pass away.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always smiling. Walking down the street I try my hardest to keep a smile on my face, some days it can get pretty rough but I really want to share some happiness with others. I want them to be happy, like I am happy, I want them to feel true joy. I live my faith buy trying to always be there when others are in need of a friend, I would never want them to feel alone, because feeling alone is a terrible feeling that no person should ever have to feel. I also live my faith by organizing a weekly gathering with some of the men in our church, we get together and play games and help each other stay strong in our tough college days. We start out with a spiritual message to uplift us then play some games that help us get to know each other and make new friends.
