Hi I'm Braxton Parkinson

I'm an adrenaline junky, sports enthusiast, and most of all I'm a gamer! Then most most of all I'm a MORMON

About Me

I am a huge action sport type of person. Even though I love football, I would much rather go skydiving, base jumping, or repelling. When I get back from my mission I will probably become a skydiving intructor as a part time job. My favorite football team is the Denver Broncos. I'm big into video games, growing up me and my friends would be up all night playing them, even though that probably wasn't the best idea. I love music, I will listen to about anything except rap, and country.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church, so you could say that is the reason, but the real reason has a story behind it. Yes I went to church every week, but did I live the teachings of the gospel? The answer would be no. I had some friends that would pressure me into things that weren't in line with Christs teachings. One day I was with my buddies doing stuff I wasn't expose to be doing and I had a wake up call, what I was doing was wrong, and I could feel it. I felt like something left me that night, I felt a piece of me missing. From that day on I knew I needed to get my act together, so I really started to crack down and figure out what I needed to do. And in this process I found my testimony. I found that Joseph Smith was a true prophet that God had called him to restore the true church once again upon the earth. That is the reason I am a Mormon. I know it's true there is not a doubt in my mind that it isn't.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith. The way I show my faith is by living the teachings of Jesus Christ. By trying to be the best person I can, help anyone out that is in need. I believe the best way to show your faith is by example, showing people that you are a disciple of Jesus Christ, walking in his foot steps trying to become more like him.
